(Blenheim, New Zealand) March 16, 2026 – Victoria King Public Relations is pleased to announce the newest addition to its portfolio, The Marlborough Hotel and Vineyard, a small luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Marlborough’s wine region.
Nestled within 16 acres of lush gardens and a working vineyard, The Marlborough Boutique Hotel was originally built as a convent in 1901 for the Sisters of Mercy in the nearby town of Blenheim before being carefully relocated in five pieces to its current site in 1994. Over the years, the historic building has been thoughtfully restored and reimagined, evolving into the intimate luxury hotel it is today. Adjacent to the main building sits a historic chapel, originally built in 1911 and moved to the property in 1999, which has since been beautifully renovated and now serves as the hotel’s Chapel Bar and lounge.

The property offers ten elegantly designed rooms, each featuring spacious ensuites, scenic views, and the experience of sleeping amongst the vineyards. All of the guest rooms are individually designed in a contemporary style and set within the two floors of the historic main house.

On-site, the award-winning Harvest Restaurant showcases seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, complemented by wines crafted from the property’s own vineyard. Harvest’s team creates menus using fresh produce from the estate’s organic gardens, alongside ingredients sourced from Marlborough’s finest local growers, farmers, and artisans.

With versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, guests can enjoy the gardens which feature over 400 different native and exotic trees and shrubs that meander down to a spring fed creek that flows through the estate. The estate’s working vineyards provide the property with the Merlot, Malbec, Riesling & the world-renowned Sauvignon Blanc which can be found at Harvest restaurant or in each room. Guests may also choose to spend an afternoon with the onsite winemaker or arrange a private garden tour with the landscaping team. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool (Oct-Mar) surrounded by rolling lawns as well as variety of nearby excursions and activities ranging from cruising the Marlborough Sounds, hiking the Queen Charlotte Track, exploring the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre and much more.
