Karla Virgen joined the VKPR team in 2026 after graduating from California State University, Long Beach, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Before joining VKPR, she gained professional communications experience as an intern with CBS News and Stations, supporting media monitoring, writing, and research across 15 stations. She also developed hands-on public relations experience through Azul PR Agency and PRSSA Long Beach, where she served as vice president. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts, shopping, and discovering new cafes.
